Bagpipe Lessons, Chanter Lessons
There is now one month until the next block of new adult Chanter and Bagpipe lessons begin.
The club is set up for the development and enjoyment of playing the Great Highland Bagpipe.
The aim for those already play is to improve and develop your playing technique and understanding of the different idioms of pipe music.
The club provides the opportunity for pipers to meet other pipers, learn new tunes and play as a group with other pipers.
Classes are suitable for everyone from complete beginners to advanced pipers.
These weekly classes are in small groups and are delivered in a supportive and fun learning environment.
It's never too late to learn!
If you have never picked up a chanter before, and would like to try, just come along at 8pm on Wednesday 23rd August, meet the others members and join in.
Practice chanters are available on the night if you do not already have one. There will also be chanters that you can buy.
If you have played before then dig out your chanter and/or pipes from under the bed and come along at 7pm on Wednesday 23rd August.
If you have children, girls and boys, P4 upwards who already play or would like the opportunity to learn bagpiping, please get in touch as classes are dependent on numbers and parental partnership.
The bagpipe and chanter lessons are held in Douglas Park Bowling Club clubhouse on the Irvine Road, Largs.
