Bagpiper for FuneralsProfessional Piper for Funerals and Memorials

There is a lot of tradition in the history of the bagpipe.  One of these traditions is saying a final farewell to a loved one.  The Scottish Highland Bagpipe is a powerful instrument that can relate powerful emotion.  At funerals bagpipes are often played as a musical memorial to the one who has passed on.  I have played many funerals and take each one seriously.  I realize that the music I play will leave a lasting impression and will become part of the final memories that the family and friends will have of the deceased.  I only wish to play in a way that will enhance these memories.
A bagpiper from Scottish Bagpiping is one of the most fitting ways to provide an emotional and meaningful send off for a departed loved one.

Here are a few options that might help you decide how you would like to incorporate bagpipes during the funeral service.

  • At the viewing.
  • As guest arrive at the church service.
  • Musical interlude during the service.
  • While the guests pay their final respects.
  • At the Graveside or Crematorium.
