Wedding Piper - Scottish Bagpiping
I am a Wedding Bagpiper with great passion for promoting bagpiping and Scotland to any guests or visitors who visit our country adding a lasting musical imprint to any Scottish experience.
Nothing quite sets up your Wedding or Reception quite like the sound of a Piper welcoming your guests.
I have played at many weddings all around Scotland. I have found that there is no one right way to incorporate bagpipes into a wedding service. Some couples only want to hear a few of their favourite tunes while others like to hear the pipes all day. More often than not I am asked to play outside the church entrance for guests as they arrive, walking the bride into the service and again as the bridal party and their guests exit. However, playing in the church as a musical introduction, interlude and/or conclusion and can also be done to brighten the Celtic atmosphere of the ceremony.
The wedding reception is another popular place to include the pipes, as the couple and guests arrive at the hotel and again "Piping In" the Top Table.
Here are a few options that might help you decide how you would like to incorporate bagpipes into your wedding. Mix and match as you wish.
